The Cambridge Acting Academy part time foundation course enables students to receive industry standard training outside London at an affordable price. The programme is ideal for anyone aged 18 and above wishing to prepare for drama school or university entry, or anyone who is passionate about drama who wants to enjoy a 3-month drama experience.

Playing Shakespeare – from sonnets to speeches to duologues to scenes

Playing the Scene - Looking for clues in the text to explore character and situation.

From Page to Stage – Lifting the scenes off the page to tell the audience a story.

Researching and Devising – Choosing material and shaping the presentation.

Rehearsal to performance – Developing the necessary skills in voice, movement and acting.
